Jerry Goldsmiths astounding score to the cult 1978 Franklin J Schaffner film, The Boys From Brazil. Again Schaffner used the incredible talent of his regular composer Jerry Goldsmith, who composed previously Patton, Planet of The Apes and The Sand Pebbles, so Goldsmith was used to Schaffner`s style of filmmaking. Goldsmith at this point was in high demand, not only scoring Boys From Brazil but Damien Omen II, The Swarm & Coma all within the year ! Jerry Goldsmith however provided a simply stunning score, utilising elements of Strauss & Wagner in the score, but also stamping his authority on the musical composition, driving marches, beautiful waltz cues and also the fantastic action sequences are simply the best ever composed. Released by Intrada over 18 years ago and long out of print, this LS Scores edition again revisits a goldsmith stunner.
