The 1998 sequel to Species was a moderate success. however composer Christopher Young didnt return to the sequel. but was handed over to veteran composer. Edward Shearmur. This time a full orchestral score was written. dark & forboding. but beautiful at the same time. The score was in deep contrast to the original. but still managed to create a score which technically is better than the production. This 2 CD release now available includes the complete score. as the original 35min version from the now deleted TVT release. Complete with an 8 page colour booklet highlighting the composer and movie.
